You're engaged! Congratulations! This is one of the most exciting times in your life and an amazing opportunity  to document your love. I want to capture you as a couple in your natural element. An engagement shoot is an important step in the wedding process. It gives you the opportunity to get comfortable in front of the camera and gives us the chance to get to know each other. Preparing  for your wedding can be a tornado of excitement and probably some stress. I love to take couples out of that world for a moment  and candidly capture your personalities and love. When your wedding day arrives, we will be in sync with our styles, enabling perfect execution.

Wedding Collections begins at $2500 and a $500 deposit is required to hold your date.

Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life. I will be there for you every step. When you look back and can’t remember those little moments that were so emotional, it was a big blur, you can rest assured, I captured it. You will want to see everything you missed and your guest’s perspective. You will want to remember the exact shade of your flowers, taken in the right light. You will want clear expressions and timeless memories from the dance floor. I got it!

It's the day you commit your love to one another, a day you want meticulously and beautifully captured.  It’s in the details! From stepping into the gown to the loving first look, to the exciting first dance, these are the memories you want to cherish forever.

I pride myself in photographing every detail -- from the cake to the shoes and everything in between.  You will not have to worry about having amazing photos on your wedding day.

Looking back on your day with your friends and family present to witness your love, will bring you great joy for many years to come -- the gift that keeps on giving.

Frequently Asked Questions

How to prepare for your engagement session?

It is important that you are well rested the day of your session. You want you to look your best, and getting enough sleep the night before is a good first step. Allow yourself extra time to pick your wardrobe, style yourself, and travel. I recommend arriving for your session early and take the opportunity to enjoy a few moments of relaxation before we begin. It is not necessary to accessorize your session with props unless it has already been discussed as an integral part of your session. I create timeless portraits that are natural, relaxed and pure and we find that keeping themes simple allows for real moments, expressions and interactions. I also recommend having your hands free throughout the session, and so we prefer to not have you carry extra clothing, a purse, drinks, or anything else. Embrace whatever mood you feel during your session. Feel free to relax, laugh and have a good time. Portraits are best when you are being yourself. It’s important to remember that just because there is a camera pointing at you, it doesn’t necessarily mean that you have to be looking at the camera. Sometimes the strongest images are created when you are interacting with one another and enjoying a moment as opposed to posing.

Where will the engagement session take place?

The session can take place anywhere you would like, at the comfort of your own home, an urban setting, or a grass field. I do encourage clients to think outside the box and choose a meaningful location.

When do I see my images?

After the photo shoot, I will be in touch to schedule your viewing and ordering session. I will provide a customized slideshow  and samples of the beautiful products I offer. This ordering session will be the time for you to pick out your favorites and order your prints and digitals.
